I've decided to make a thread solely dedicated to the 2008 Houston Texans.

I wasn't planning on doing it, but I decided I can put in the hard work and have fun at the same time. I want it to be known that I made this thread on April 29, 2008.

Have you seen those commercials where half the screen is half of one players face, and the other half is the other player? Each player recites the same lines. I know you have seen them. This one features James and Garnett. One of the quotes is "I remember seeing Bird win it all...it was then that I knew that's what I wanted" Well, this kind of pissed me off BECAUSE LEBRON JAMES WAS ONE AND A HALF YEARS OLD WHEN BIRD WON IT ALL IN 1986!! In what has turned out to be a roller coaster ride of a 2007-2008 NBA regular season, the Houston Rockets just clinched a playoff berth with their 105-79 win over the L.A. Clippers tonight.

The Houston Rockets are now 52-25 with 5 games left to play this season.

The only thing left to play for is playoff seeding, but at this point I'm very happy the Houston Rockets made the playoffs and I'll let everything else work itself out.

The Houston Rockets are currently the 5th seed with a record of 47-23 and tied with the Spurs, but the Rockets own any tie-breaker with the Spurs.

If the Rockets beat the Kings tonight, they'll be 48-23.
