It's that time of year again. Since we now have to wait over a month before Texas and Alabama play for the "title", while 3 other UNDEFEATED teams get left out, it's time for my annual solution to the joke that is deciding college football's champion. I've revised the plan a little and believe it is now very near perfect.

All 11 conference champions get automatic berths. There are then 5 at-large spots available. Those 5 spots go to the highest rated teams...

The Houston Texans have been given a lot of time to build a winning football team. To be playing season number eight and still no closer to becoming a winning 9-7 football team, is beyond comprehension at this point. Since the Houston Texans were an expansion team in 2002, no team has fewer wins than the Detroit Lions. They've been the real expansion team for the past seven years. It baffles my mind how they can't seem to turn that franchise around.

Watching today's Lions versus Packers game is really hard to do because the Lions are so bad. They have a couple of good players on offense, some talent on defense ( maybe not ) but they're still professional players ( hopefully )...
