So the reports he did were wrong.

Bob Mcnair also said he knows Jimmy is happy working for FOX.

I think you are right SuperS. Bob Mcnair probably just asked if he was interested and Jimmy said no.

All the reports I saw today on ESPNNEWS and ESPN said Jimmy Johnson turned down both jobs though.

But I have to trust Bob Mcnair if he said so.

My 2nd preference would be to lure a younger college coach .. perhaps a Bob Stoopes from OU.

I sort of like going after young blood. Sort of like Dolphins did with Nick Saban.

Although, it will probably be Dan Reeves as our next head coach.

I am still not sold on Dan Reeves being a GM. He is a football coach first and foremost.

I think it was one of those deals where McNair was like: hey, you interested? And Jimmy saying no thanks.

So wow, Bob Mcnair offered him the coach and GM job but he refused.

Well ESPNNEWS just confirmed that Jimmy Johnson was offered the Texans job but he turned it down.

Jimmy Johnson released a statement saying he was thankful to get the job offer but that he is happy being on FOX.

So what now for our head coaching search ?
