One of the interesting things about baseball is that a squeeze bunt which travels 10 feet can be just as exciting as a 400 foot HR.

On one of the Mets' forums, they're calling the Astros "wusses" because we used the suicide squeeze. Well, who won the game?

If they had used the squeeze it would have been a brilliant play. I do believe the only move, that while smart could have been considered "wussy" would have been intentionally walking Ensberg late in the game. I don't know how many saw it but Ensberg actually got pissed he was being walked... he gave a little head shake and said something like "Dammit" or something. A squeeze is smart baseball and they were just pissed they saw it last night and didn't expect it... especially considering we all posted about the squeeze right before it happened and they pay people to anticipate this crap. Also, when every article refers to Ausmus as Garner's go to guy with the squeeze you should at least throw up and in on the first pitch.

No offense but all we could do and did play through June was small ball and look where it got us. Don't get me wrong I'll take a win any way it comes, and the comment about a 10ft bunt being just as exciting as a tape measure HR is right on.
