Well, looks like some officials are still a little pissed about Van Gundy's accusations.

How did that crap finally play out? I can't remember.

However, I remember thinking I bet Van Gundy will pussy out because of the implications it brings and the treatment his team would've gotten this year.

WHY THE HELL AREN'T OFFICIALS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR MISTAKES. IN ANY OTHER JOB, IN ANY OTHER WALK OF LIFE YOU ARE ALWAYS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR OWN DAMN ACTIONS....EXCEPT REF'S.

I have a feeling nobody would make this big a deal about missed calls if on Monday morning the Ref/Ump who was responsible was docked in some way shape or form and/or had a program that would phase you out if you continually made mistakes.

I understand it's not a perfect profession and you shouldn't lose your job over one mistake, but if they missed at least 5 calls today like you guys are saying, they should be suspended for a game, something.

They're so arrogant about it too. That stupid look on their faces like "I'm never wrong, I'm a freaking Ref!". I just wish I could swipe it off thier face every time. You know the look I'm talking about. The look the Ump gets right when he knows the manager crossed the line and he gets to kick him out of the game!!!

Sorry, I hate umps. It may be unreasonable to make it all machines, but it's not unreasonable for them to have checks and balances, like in EVERY OTHER PROFESSION OF LIFE!!!
