I was reading an article on Nelson Cruz, a corner OF acquired by the Rangers in the Lee deal. He has gotten several stings in the bigs but hasn't broken
through. However, his minor league numbers continue to impress and suggest maybe he's gotten over the hump.

And his OPS so far this year is over 1.200 with 11 bombs already! I'm not saying I think he'll be the second coming and I wonder how he would adjust to fewer ab's, but surely he's a better player than Cruz at this point. Obviously a deal would need to be made, but the Rangers have a decent OF and would seem open to trading someone who has left a bad taste in their mouth.
