Astros 2, Nationals 1 - Top of the 5th.
The Astros are really shooting themselves in the foot tonight. Shawn Chacon just needs to continue pitching well.

The crowds are really down......they count season tix holders, but the real attendance is reflecting high gas prices and a cut-back in
"discretionary" spending.......lots of no-shows me thinks.......looking at yesterday's box scores, there were some attendance figures barely into
5 digits...

Wily Mo Pena singled into center field to lead off the top of the 5th.
Shawn Hill bunted him to second base. Nationals have the potential tying run on second base with only one out for Felipe Lopez. Chacon doesn't have any margin for error right now.

Felipe Lopez is out...
He swung the bat before he got hit by the pitch. That's a strikeout alright. Two outs and now Guzman is up to bat.

Christian Guzman tied the game 2-2 with a two-out RBI double into left field.
2-2 game in the top of the 5th. Shawn Chacon just needs to get one more out and keep this game tied.

Ryan Zimmerman hit an RBI double off the left center field wall.
Nationals lead 3-2 in the top of the 5th. Shawn Chacon is giving up a lot of extra base hits right now. He needs an out badly... Intentionally walking Nick Johnson, and now Lastings Milledge is up to bat. Chacon needs to get Milledge out to keep this a close game.

Lastings Milledge singled into right field and Ryan Zimmerman is thrown out at home plate by Hunter Pence!
Nationals lead 3-2 in the middle of the 5th. Astros have Matsui, Tejada and Berkman due up in the bottom of the 5th. It's time to have that four-run bottom of the 5th I predicted in a polling thread! Astros are only down one little run. No big deal...

Kaz Matsui leads off the bottom of the 5th with a comebacker to the pitcher.
One out and Miguel Tejada is up to bat. I'd like to see a home run ( one swing of the bat ) to tie this game at the very least. Tejada or Berkman can both do it.
