Wigginton does have the second highest OBP among starters, which may account for this odd lineup decision. Sampson tries his hand at starting again. How long can he go? Hope someone joins you soon Clack. Looks like Sampson will get out of the first with a run being scored and almost unheard of happening Seeing as the Astros scored in the top of first. Seems like all the Astro pitchers give those runs right back on their first at bat.

Sampson doesn't look exceptionally sharp and had a couple of long flyballs, which isn't good for a groundball pitcher, but he still leads 2-0.

After Ausmus single, Wiggy walked, and Loretta hit a deep line drive in the RCF gap to score 2. Now 4-0. Scoring in both innings so far followed a walk, which has been few and far between this year for Astros.
