I did not say we are more important. I said we are different.

Different in a qualitative way, just like RNA is different from chemicals, single-celled organisms are different from RNA, and multi-cellular organisms are different from single-cellular organisms.

Yes, were are all ultimately stardust. But the difference lies not in the composition, but in the organization. While our self-awareness is just a quirk of nature, quirks happen. Why diminish it simply because no one planned for it to be that way?

I am grateful for it and would like to ensure that this quirk of self-awareness hangs around for as long as possible.
