I really don't wish to get into a political war of words over Iraq. I expressed my feelings on this issue. I donot think anyone purposely lied to get us into Iraq. I think it can be attributed to what many military analysts call "the fog of war" and I cannot judge the intentions of our soldiers or the original intentions of our political leaders but I can look at a current situation and ask myself is the guaranteed positive returns valid enough to warrant the continued limited committment we've made.

Many of our soldiers have already made the ultimate committment. They'll never know if we will have ever won this thing. I simply donot have any stomach for playing a political game with the enemy. We *know* that those killing our soldiers are receiving support from Syria and Iran but we turn and look the other way...just like in Vietnam.

If one is going to make the ultimate committment to go to war, then allow our soldiers the leverage to win the damn thing or get the hell out!

We have the military hardware to level the military infrastructure of every terrorist supporting nation in the middle east but we apparently have decided that playing politics with these murderers is more important than allowing our soldiers to do their job.

I don't like it and I don't agree with the direction that this current administration has decided to take this war.
I have two family members in the middle east right now and my family has served in all the U.S. armed forces.

I will support our troops under any circumstances. They're the ones putting their lives on the line to preserve freedom and our american way of life but by God, let them fight the damn thing and win or get the hell out.
