No question that his performance indicates that he is ready. I still think there is a possibility that the desire to be very conservative in the handling of his shoulder tendinitis may be a factor in not calling him up. From what I have read in the past, the Astros are intent on limiting the number of innings he pitches this season, in order to be cautious. It may be more difficult to do that at the ML level...plus I would imagine that his first couple of games at the ML level would involve more risk of over-exertion, high pitch counts etc. Just a guess.
