I could turn out to be wrong, but I don't view Lee as THAT good a hitter. Sure, he is better than what the Astros produce in LF now, but I don't think he is the kind of hitter who is worth a king's ransom. Also, by offering Lee a huge contract extension, which he then turns down, didn't the Brewers shoot themselves in the foot? If every buyer team out there no that Lee will want more than $12 million/year to re-sign, doesn't that reduce what the Brewers are likely to get back in trade value?
