I have a hard time criticizing ESPN's decision to fire him without having details of what happened. Recognizing that we are talking about rumors...we don't know if the sexual harrassment is the true cause...
but if it is true that he was repeatedly told to cease the behavior by management and he continued doing it, then he deserves to be fired. In fact, ESPN opens itself up to a great deal of legal liability if it doesn't take strong action in that situation.
Moreover, if sexual harrassment was involved, we don't know what he did or if it was more serious than an innocent comment. The fact that ESPN fired him so swiftly makes me think it could have been something serious.
