I'm not sure I agree with that. I would like to see the offense in a few more games before I reach that conclusion.

The think that struck me was how the Astros blew some of their chances. Scott and Burke both ran the Astros out of some opportunities with poor base running judgements. Another big opportunity went by the wayside when Everett was caught off second for a DP when Lee hit a bullet to the 2d baseman. That one was just bad luck. My point is that it isn't like the Astros couldn't hit.

One thing that did bother me was that Lee flyball to the warning track in front of the Crawford Boxes. Newspaper reports recently said that Lee was constantly talking about how much he looked forward to hitting balls into the Crawford Boxes. Generally that kind of talk makes me nervous, because guys can ruin their at bats by focusing too much on the Crawford Boxes. That ball Lee skied to the warning track in front of the boxes looked like that kind of at bat. Hopefully, Lee won't let the lure of the Crawford Boxes get him out of his game.
