If that were to happen, I wouldn't be surprised if Phil Garner named Mark Loretta the starting second baseman for all 9 of those road games. :wink

Drayton will probably talk to Biggio about it, and he'll convince Biggio how important it is to reach 3,000 hits in front of the hometown fans. Being the gamer and team-player Biggio is, he will probably agree to do it. ( Not start for 9 games on the road, in that particular scenario ) ...

Also, given the fact the Houston Astros are 5-0 when both Mark Loretta and Hunter Pence are in the starting lineup, I don't think it would be the end of the world if Mark Loretta got some more starts at second base. That will also give Ensberg and Lamb the bulk of the playing time at third base, and Adam Everett can start every game at shortstop.
