Brad Lidge should be in the starting rotation, if nothing else, just to see how he does. Perhaps if he can have some success as a starting pitcher, he might be able to reinvent his entire career ...

Didn't Roger Clemens make an interesting comment a couple of weeks ago about Brad Lidge being better used in the starting rotation ?

I mean, it's not like internet GMs ( like me ) are suggestively in the mood to bring this idea to the forefront just for the hell of it. It was mentioned by one of the greatest pitchers of All-Time.

It's too bad Phil Garner doesn't take the idea more seriously, often implying a self-suggestion that it wouldn't even be an option unless Brad Lidge is totally horrible as a closer, which he is already meddling with right now.
