RyanED, if he can get his arm healthy, I have no doubt that Jennings is a legitimate No. 2 pitcher. With elbow issues, it is always a concern and a big question mark, of course.

We can hope to pick up Clemens, and that may be the best hope for the rotation. I don't think top starters will be available for trade at mid-season, and if one is available, there are a BUNCH of teams who will want him. If the current rotation is inadequate, the Astros will have to gamble that one of the pitchers from RR will help. Unfortunately, the best candidate, Nieve, isn't pitching well right now. Gutierrez is pitching well, though. If Albers pitches well, perhaps he would stay in the rotation when Jennings returns. But Albers scares me more than Wandy with his propensity to walk batters.
