Clack, given the fact of what the St.Louis Cardinals did in 2006, I remain pleasantly optimistic about the 2007 Astros in terms of winning the division and possibly winning the World Series. It will take some luck of course, but nothing that is too impossible. It will very likely take 83 wins again ( give or take a game ) to win the National League Central Division in 2007.

Offensively and pitching-wise, I truly see a lot of similarities between the 2007 Astros and the 2006 Cardinals. Of course, that is under the assumption that Lance Berkman can become an MVP candidate, like he was in 2006. ( Also like Albert Pujols was in 2006 ).

Defensively, we're still good but we can be a little shaky at times, especially in center field, second base, third base ( the routine throws need to be made more consistently ), and perhaps left field.

Overall, I love the 2007 Houston Astros. They might have a special year this season, but as always, baseball is just too long of a season and these early season ball games don't " float my boat " like they should be.
