This is going to be a very different Astros team than what we are used to seeing. Personally, I think it is refreshing in a way. Since 2005, we have been a 'keep the game close and hope for enough hitting' kind of team. Our starting pitching and relief pitching was remarkably consistent in 2005 and 2006 in comparison with the league.

The negative of those teams is that if we ever got down 6-1 we could just forget about it. Now, we have enough offense to make every game interesting, but some of our starting pitchers aren't going to pitch well consistently. Wandy, Sampson, and Albers will have their fair share of blow ups. You hope they pitch well often enough to win a very mediocre division.

It might look ugly at times, but an 11-4 loss is worth just as much as a 3-2 loss.
I'm down with OBP (yeah you know me).
