You know, a guy could set his watch by the time it takes someone to post the 1.83 exponent once the Pythagorean Projection is given as WP = R^2/(R^2 + r^2). It's like swallows to Capistrano, monarchs to Mexico. I swear to God.

I'm not trying to come up with the Grand Unification theory here. After 9 games, the PP said we should have won 4.0015 games and we had won 4.0000. Ain't bad for a first guess estimate.

BTW, does anybody know how to write a program to solve for WP in the equation:

WP = [(R + R')]^2/{[(R + R')]^2 + [(r + r')]^2 where R and r are the previous sum of runs and R' and r' are the runs of the last game played. I'd love to just be able to plug in R' and r' without all the other stuff to calculate by hand.
