You're the one trying to make an issue of age, you're the one whining about the Astros not drafting seventeen-year-olds with every first and second round pick. A high school player is not any more likely to pan out as a prospect just because he's a teenager, but if he does pan out he's going to be paid a lot more money before he reaches his peak range. The Astros philosophy is sound. The proof is in the results.
