If it was the 9th inning, I completely agree with you. But, it was the 7th inning with no outs and men on 1st and 3rd. If the squeeze was successful (and more often than not, with that execution, it will be), there were plenty more chances to score a second and more runs, beginning with that same inning, having a man on 2nd with 1 out.
