Steve Phillips on ESPN Sportscenter earlier, mentioned the Boston Red Sox still have interest in trading for Brad Lidge.

However, he said that a year ago, the Astros might have been able to get the Red Sox top two prospects for Brad Lidge, as oppose to right now. Steve Phillips says the Red Sox might still give up one top-tier to borderline prospect, but nothing of major value, and certainly not two top prospects.

Basically, the Astros can't expect to get much in return for Lidge right now, as they might have a year ago ...

Nothing new there I guess. All of us already knew this, but the interesting thing is the Red Sox still have interest in Brad Lidge right now.
