Ankiel has made the ultimate adjustment...he is an outfielder. ("If you can't beat them, join them school of pitching") He actually is a pretty good outfielder. I think he started in A ball last year and he is already a starting outfielder for the Cards' AAA team. From what I have heard, he hits with power, and he has a tremendous arm in RF (big surprise). He probably is still a long shot for the majors, even though the Cardinals' ML outfield isn't going to win any awards.
