Ryan, I hear the Texans like the progress Winston made at RT, and he's going to stay there. Spencer will remain at LT.

Speedy, you might be right. Last night on ABC 13 Sports with Tim Helton ( that 30 minute show aired at 6:30 PM on Saturday Night with the panel ), they had an interview with Charles Spencer and he said he plans to return to 100 % this season and get his job back. He said he would be ready to play by July's training camp, but not the mini camp and all the early stuff.

If Charles Spencer can play Left Tackle at a high level and Eric Winston remains at Right Tackle, that is even better because we already have our franchise Tackles in place for the next 10 years.

I was worried Charles Spencer would be moved to Right Tackle and Eric Winston would have to be moved inside to Right Guard. There was speculation of that happening a couple of months ago when it was uncertain if Charles Spencer would even return.

So then Jordan Black will likely become the swing Tackle and be the number one backup at either Tackle position, with Ephraim Salaam doing the same thing.

In that case, the offensive line is looking even better to me right now. All we really need is a little more depth at the guard positions. Perhaps draft a Guard like Manuel Ramirez from Texas Tech in the 3rd round, or Mike Jones from Iowa in the 5th or 6th round.

Either way, the Houston Texans really don't need to do anything big at offensive line in the draft. Perhaps an offensive lineman or two in the later rounds. Mainly an Offensive Guard.
