What's interesting, is the Detroit Lions who have the 2nd overall pick in the draft, didn't even show up.

However, the Browns ( 3rd pick ), Vikings ( 7th pick ), and Texans ( 8th pick ), all three of those teams were in attendance, and all three of them were " very impressed " with Brady Quinn.

Very unlikely Brady Quinn will still be on the board when the Houston Texans come up to pick at 8.

I really feel he will go no later than the Vikings at 7.

Unless the Houston Texans are totally sold on David Carr not being the answer, and they're willing to trade up to land Brady Quinn, I don't think we will get Brady Quinn.

Given the comments made by GM Rick Smith in recent days, it seems like the Texans will only consider drafting Brady Quinn should he fall to the 8th pick, otherwise we might target WR Ted Ginn Jr. The Houston Texans do want more playmakers on offense, which makes me think we might draft offense with our 1st round pick.

If we do draft defense, certainly Safety LaRon Landry or a defensive lineman ( so many rank highly in this draft ), could be a target for us.

I will say this, Brady Quinn is starting to become more appealing to me as we get closer to draft day, and it has nothing to do with how I feel about David Carr.
