The Houston Texans are in a division which features three franchise quarterbacks in Peyton Manning, Vince Young, and to some degree, a healthy Byron Leftwich.

I don't believe David Carr, entering his 6th NFL season, will ever be the type of franchise quarterback that many people expected when he was drafted number 1 overall back in the 2002 NFL Draft. No, Carr isn't necessarily a bust like Tim Couch, but he's certainly no Troy Aikman or Peyton Manning. He's definitely the ladder and more closer to being in the middle-of-the-road type of quarterbacks in this league.

I do believe Brady Quinn can be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. The kid is incredibly gifted and savvy. He has learned a pro-oriented offense the past two seasons under Charlie Weis, who once coached Tom Brady.

Brady Quinn is going to be a special player in the NFL. I can see him going to many pro bowls, leading the team to the playoffs, and going to a few Super Bowls in his career.

Texans need offensive playmakers, not a liability on offense, which is what David Carr is. You should never play " not to lose " games, which is what Gary Kubiak did with David Carr the last 8 games last season.

I want the football in Brady Quinn's hands, the kid helped turn Notre Dame from a loser into a BCS bowl team in only a few years. I believe he could do the same with the Houston Texans.

I'm really torn between Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn and Ohio State WR Ted Ginn Jr. Either way, we need playmakers on offense. All we have right now is Andre Johnson and to some degree, an aging Ahman Green.
