Speedy, I heard the Texans would trade the 8th pick plus a 3rd round pick to Redskins for the 6th pick, in that gentleman's trade that might be in place with the Redskins on draft day, should Brady Quinn be on the board at 6.

Also, even more interesting, the Texans might trade David Carr instead of the 3rd round pick, seeing how he has similar trade-value.

So the trade could be 8th pick and David Carr to Washington for the 6th overall pick for Brady Quinn.

In essense, the Texans basically replace Carr with Brady Quinn and put a new face on the franchise.

Too early to tell, and these are at best rumors. We shall see what happens in 7 more weeks. Only 7 more weeks until the 2007 NFL Draft.
