Oh My God, did you guys see Tim Melton on ABC 13 Sports yesterday ( The 6:30 show ) ?

He said that Gary Kubiak is really excited about the possibility of Brady Quinn being in a Texans uniform, and Kubiak feels Brady Quinn reminds him a lot of Tom Brady.

Tim Melton said the Houston Texans do not want to trade draft picks, but they will make an exception if Brady Quinn is still on the board at 6.

Tim Melton said the Texans will trade up two spots to land Brady Quinn, even if it means giving up a 3rd round pick or a player with equal value of a 3rd rounder ( David Carr ? ) to the Washington Redskins in the process.

However, I should warn you, Tim Melton also said we would draft Reggie Bush last year, so you might want to take what he says with a grain of salt.

I guess it's one of those " wait and see what happens " type of situation.

But one thing is for certain, Texans GM Rick Smith and head coach Gary Kubiak really, really, and I mean really like Brady Quinn.

I think Speedy could be right in terms of what he heard on 610 AM. The Houston Texans might have a gentleman's trade already worked out with the Washington Redskins if Brady Quinn is available at 6. This makes a lot of sense because the Vikings at 7 would likely draft Brady Quinn, and the Texans can move up from 8 to 6 to land him ahead of the Vikings.

Listen guys, I'm all for keeping David Carr and going after other needs in the 1st round, but if the Houston Texans decide Brady Quinn is their best option, then I will support the Houston Texans decision 100 %.

If Gary Kubiak feels Brady Quinn is another Tom Brady, then who am I to disagree ? I would think Gary Kubiak knows a lot more about quarterbacks than I do.

Brady Quinn might be the Houston Texans newest franchise quarterback ?
