I'd go more 60/40 at this point.

A) How likely is it that Quinn falls to us? IMO, he's just not worth giving anything else up for him, even Carr. However if that gentllemens deal is really in place that would be a lot less painless than our 3rd rounder.

B) I just don't see how changing QBs does much good if we don't get anything for Carr. A 3rd or 4th rounder would be so nice, but then were stuck with hoping Quinn falls or our QB situation is bleak. I suppose it's not much better now...

C) If we dump Carr and don't draft Quinn who's playing for us? There's only left-overs as far as free agents are concerned. Could we find a starting QB in the later rounds as no other QBs besides Russell and Quinn justify a top selection? I keep hearing people talk about Kolb is he a potential answer for NEXT season?

Frankly, I just don't see any other options that are much more appealing than Carr. A change for the sake of change is counter-productive when you have as many weak-links as the Texans do. It's one thing if that player is a cancer in the locker room. While Carr is not the greatest leader in the NFL, he's certaintly not a lousy one.

Ability wise we're just rolling the dice if we choose Quinn over Carr. For every Petyon Manning there's a Ryan Leaf. If we do go that route here's hoping the Raiders get "Leaf".
