An ugly win is still a win.:eh And it goes to show again just how important the turnover battle is in determining games in this league. The Texans are outgained 306 to 177, have the ball only a hair under 22 minutes to Cleveland's 38 minutes, run 21 less offensive plays, but win the turnover battle 3-1 and they get the W.

Player of the game has to be Anthony Maddox. A sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery, and touchdown all on one play.:cheers

It was good to see Chris Taylor get some carries and do well.

So other than Taylor, Maddox, and Ryans, who had another solid game, that's about it for the bright spots for the Texans in this one.

Even the coaching has another bad game, IMO. A Cleveland team, bad against the run like Indy, and the Texans come out passing on 8 of their first 12 offensive plays. Bad game plan.

Oh well, they finish it 6-10. Were 3-3 within the division and 4-4 at home. They'll have the 8th pick in the draft so other than all the Carr bashing that will be going on the next few months, it should be a lot more normal an off-season as opposed to last year's. I feel confident that the turnover in talent will continue and that the Texans can build on last year's draft with another good crop. A good draft, a couple of key FA signings and getting some people off the IR should help a lot.

I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it.
