Well, I keep an eye on CNBC all day (it's in HD) since I'm in the investment business....also watch National Geographic, The History Channel, and tons of HBO, and other HD movie channels, as well as all sports that are HD, and the difference is unbelievable. But most folks who haven't sprung for it just have other $$$ priorities, that's fine. III would probably agree that it adds a lot to the enjoyment of sports events...it's better than being there...

MLB has 1/10th as many games as the NFL but has a higher % of HD games....

The technology is apparently very expensive....it took years for color TV to be universal, so broader HD programming is just a matter of bringing down the cost and perfecting the technology.....I've only had HD less than 2 years and the number of HD channels has doubled.....the TV I have is down 40% in price since I bought it in 2006.....my choice was to keep spending $4k EVERY year for Astros season tix or to spend $1700 ONCE...

Also remember that I am OLD...I mean I waited until I was 62 to buy an HD TV......all of you will buy one before that age!
