One of my constant gripes about the Astros in the past few years was their failure to make productive outs. We would get a guy to 2nd or 3rd with one out or zero outs and then be unable to move them up a base because the team sat around waiting for a home run. It's too early to know for sure but I really hope the Astros are more aggressive in moving up a base, hitting a runner over or getting a sac fly
Agreed. Which is what made Wigginton's AB after Miggy's triple yesterday a breath of fresh air over what we used to have with Ensberg. Wiggy knew what he had to do, swung at the first pitch, hit a lazy fly to center, and easily scored Miggy. Ensberg likely would have taken that first pitch and several others after it, and who knows what happens after that.

Likewise, Miggy's sac fly the other day after Berkman's steal of 3rd. Again -- a breath of fresh air and hopefully an indicator of positive things to come with this team and this manager.
