I have to say that Carlos Lee's fielding is starting to concern me. I almost wish that Lee and Berkman had switched positions in spring training. Lee has been downright terrible in LF in every game.

Carlos Lee is already looking like a DH.

I was hoping he would have two or three more solid years playing defense in left field, but it seems like he's already on the decline in terms of his defensive ability. He runs too slow and he shows very little hustle, and it almost looks like he's jogging every time he tries to field the ball.

His defense can be masked quite a bit during home games, due to the shorter field to cover with the Crawford Boxes and he does do an excellent job of fielding the ball off the scoreboard, but unfortunately it's going to be an adventure for him during 81 road games this season.

The Astros have been beating themselves quite a bit so far ( early-season struggles and nothing more ), and I do think they're going to be a good team eventually. I just hope the Brewers, Cardinals or Cubs don't run away with the division, otherwise we're not going to have enough time for a second half run this year.
