Hope this wasn't TMI, but I just wanted to explain why you and other viewers of both sites are seeing the changes you are seeing.

Bob Hulsey, I don't think it was too much information and I'm sure there are many people out there who feel the same way I do.

I'm going to miss the forums at HoustonProFootball.com.

It was one of my favorite websites to visit.

I had the site located on my "AOL Favorites" and I was always one click away from going there every time I was online.

I loved all the work that was put into it, and my favorite area of the site was the profiles of all the draft prospects.

I can relate to putting in that type of hard work on a computer, and I know it can mentally and physically drain any energy you have.

I've actually ran a website briefly before on ClanLorings.com. It was an old "Diablo 2" clan I was in and it's more or less empty now a days. There used to be over 10,000 members and it was arguably the greatest website for any video game "PC RPG" back in 2000 through 2004, but around 2005 it started to die down and just recently some hackers really ruined it...

Needless to say... It fell apart without somebody willing to work countless hours a day to keep the site running the proper way.

A lot of the content in terms of the photos and statistics for game-related items added on Diabloii.com was added by me and it took at least 80 or 90 total hours to complete.

That's simply time I'll never get back in my life... When I think about it like that...

By the time I finished I felt like I had just unleashed the entire world off my shoulders. It was more relief to be done instead of feelling like I had fun doing it.

Running a website can be time consuming and difficult, but I've had some experience doing that before and it was fun at times, but most of the time it was very hard work.

I just don't see why there can't be a Houston Texans version of Stillers.com.

HoustonProFootball.com was the closest thing we had to it...

Very soon the city of Houston will have the type of soiid football team which is a consistently good playoff team year in and year out... Sort of like the Pittsburgh Steelers have right now, and it would be nice to have a place to chat with other fans about the Houston Texans.

But I mean a place solely dedicated to the Houston Texans, and not some type of sub-forum on an Astros or Rockets website.

I just don't enjoy a few of these Houston Texans message boards that are out there right now. They seem to be full of kids who do nothing but pump their chest and talk about the game like they're NFL experts, but half of them don't even know what a Cover 2 is... ( for example )

One of the things I appreciated about HoustonProFootball.com was the fact everybody on there seemed to have a great knowledge of the game.

Not only could you chat about the Texans and other NFL teams, but if you wanted to put on a head coach's thinking cap on... You could easily talk about X's and O's.
