I'm worried if the Astros don't start to win a lot of games soon, David Nuno's station manager is going to remove the AstrosDaily segment in favor of something more exciting to boost the ratings and receive more live calls on the air.

Especially at this time of the year when the Houston Rockets are making a strong playoff push, albeit without Yao Ming... It sort of diminishes their chances of winning the 2008 NBA Finals or something huge like that, but I think the Rockets will win their first playoff series in eleven years a few weeks from now. I definitely like the Rockets' chances in a 7-game playoff series against a team like the Utah Jazz or L.A. Lakers, even without Yao Ming...

There's a good possibility we're going to play one of those teams in the first round, and I certainly have my fingers crossed.

As long as we can avoid the Spurs or Suns in the first round, we'll be fine...

And you know the upcoming 2008 NFL Draft for the Houston Texans is going to generate a lot of conversations and talking interest on all of the Houston sports talk-show radio programs.

I'm only attempting some light humor here ( I'm not being totally serious ), but it kind of reminds me of my favorite episode of Frasier that just so happens to be downloaded on YouTube...

In this particular scene, the new station manager wanted to launch a new segment on Frasier Crane's talk show, but he took it to heart and decided to spice things up in order to anger his station manager.

That would be funny if I tuned into the AstrosDaily segment one of these days and heard something like this... I'd probably laugh so hard, I'll fall off my computer chair.
