Matt Garza is a young pitcher with good stuff, at one time considered to be one of the best young pitching prospects in baseball. Like a lot of young pitching prospects, Garza was inconsistent with the Twins, making his way back and forth between AAA and the ML's. The Rays traded D. Young, another underperforming young hitter, for him...and I like the Rays' side of that trade from the beginning. His ERA is in the low 4's, which is excellent for an AL pitcher.
