In Saturday's early games, the Cubs whipped the Whites Sox again, 11-7 (2 HRs by Edmonds...funny how everybody said Jim Edmonds was washed up and couldn't help anybody.) As I turn on Fox's game of the week, the Cardinals have a 8-0 lead on the Red Sox at Fenway in the 2d inning. Troy Glaus just hit a grand slam. Oh, and yesterday, Kyle Lohse won his 6th straight game for the Cardinals.

He's 9-2. What a pick up by the Cards. The only chance, and it's very slight, that the Astros have is to go on a 12 of 15 type winning streak and then play above .500 the rest of 2008. Odds of that happening....less than 10%.

Looks like it's a battle between Chicago, SL and Milwaukee. Cubs are almost unbeatable at home. They probably will win the division. SL and Milwaukee can battle for the WC spot.
