Bob, I think the Houston Texans will go 10-6 this season.

I have my fingers crossed that will be good enough for an AFC wild card berth.

Remember now, the Browns went 10-6 last year and missed the playoffs.

A lot will depend on the health of Andre Johnson. I think he's capable of busting out with a career year this season. Something along the lines of 120 receptions, 1400 receiving yards and 17 touchdown receptions. He's capable of being the best wide receiver in the league. He just needs to play all 16 games and stay healthy.

I'm eager to see how the running game develops. I have my doubts about Ahman Green staying healthy and Chris Brown ( off-season addition from the Titans ) is also an injury prone running back. Hell, I bet by Week 5 the Texans are starting rookie Steve Slaton at running back.

I think they may as well let the rookies learn on the fly and start Duane Brown at Left Tackle and Steve Slaton at Running Back. Of course, I'm sure the plan is to start Ahman Green and let Chris Brown be the backup running back.

Injuries will no doubt change the landscape at the running back position.

Defensively, I feel good. I wish Dunta Robinson was healthy and not missing at least six weeks but that's alright. I think Fred Bennett is ready to shine in his first full year as a starter, and I think rookie ( Antwaun Molden ) is going to be a rising superstar. I love his size and speed.

Xavier Adibi will turn out to be the best OLB from the 2008 Draft Class. Wait and see... He was such a freakin steal for the Texans in the 4th round. His sideline-to-sideline speed is that of a premier workhorse.

I didn't even mention Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans, I have no doubts both of them will be first-team All Pros this year. Both of them were named second-team All Pros last year. Not to mention, both will be starters in the Pro Bowl this year.

And oh yeah, Amobi Okoye will register at least 7 sacks this year.

The addition of Rosevelt Colvin was huge. That's an experienced two-time Super Bowl winner with excellent pass-rushing ability. He'll be huge on third downs on the opposite side of Mario Williams. The other times, he can be at OLB.

For the first time ever, the Houston Texans have a team that I know can win.

No more, I want them to win.

I know they can win this year!
