I just finished watching the video highlight of James Loney's two-out grand slam. Damn, and my favorite announcer Dick Stockton is doing the game with Tony Gwynn and I'm missing it!

Such a weak 86 MPH changeup over the middle of the plate by Ryan Dempster.

Looked like a batting practice, home run derby type of pitch.

I'm surprised Ryan Dempster didn't give up seven or eight runs in this game, especially with his high pitch count ( 107 pitches thrown through 4.2 innings ) and incredible wildness ( nearly threw as many balls as strikes and he walked a total of seven men ). He was fortunate the Dodgers stranged 11 men on base against him.

Ryan Dempster threw 57 strikes and 50 balls through 4.2 innings.

The fact the Cubs still have a chance to win this game is mind-boggling.

Dodgers have left way too many runners on base. They're on pace to strand close to 20 runners tonight.

Thank goodness for MLB.com. I've been able to watch video of all the run-scoring plays in this game. So I haven't missed a thing...
