My question is why the hell are C.C. Sabathia and Carlos Zambrano making Game 2 starts and not the Game 1 start?

Sabathia pitched 9 innings against the C*bs on 09/28 to help the Brewers secure the wildcard. Pitching in Game 1 would have only given him 3 days rest, which he's done a few times recently. However, I think the Brewers thinking was, he's going to pitch twice during the NLDS regardless, provided it's not a Phillies sweep, so he might as well get full rest and avoid a matchup with Hamels.

As for Zambrano, other than the *****no-hitter*****, Z has not been the C*bs' best pitcher of late; by far. In August and September, he posted an ERA over 7, and since the All-Star game, his ERA was 5.80 and his WHIP 1.40. He's been exposed. Without the *****no-hitter*****, those numbers would likely be higher. <Edit: those numbers give more credence to the asterisk on the *****no-hitter*****. What a fluke!>
