The Phillies just need to play smart.

C.C. Sabathia isn't going to last too much longer, but if he does that's only because the Phillies are swinging at his balls in the dirt.

Ryan Howard for example, has struck out twice already on pitches nowhere near the strike zone. I realize it's tough to lay off as a left-handed hitter, but just be patient!

You're better off just taking Sabathia's pitches... Make him throw two strikes before you even attempt a swing, because chances are the Philadelphia hitters will go ahead 2-0 or 1-1 in the count.

Patience for a hitter is C.C. Sabathia's kryptonite!

Phillies still have a 5-1 lead in the bottom of the 3rd.

Sabathia's pitch count is nearing 70...

Phillies are in still good shape to see the Brewers bullpen by the bottom of the 6th or the bottom of the 7th, if not much sooner!

Albeit, damn... Sabathia seems to be having a quick third inning.

Sweet, a two-out double by Jayson Werth and now he steals third base...

Sabathia isn't having a quick 1-2-3 third inning after all!

Pedro Feliz can make him pay here...
