Dodgers lead 3-0 in the top of the 6th.

The Cubs only have 12 more outs to mount a rally, otherwise their off-season will begin as they fly back to Chicago.

That was the best team in the National League too.

It just goes to show how being the best team doesn't matter.

All that matters is how good you're playing entering the playoffs.

The Cubs were able to put their team on ice and cruise control during that final week of the regular season. While they did play hard against the Mets and Brewers, they didn't have a sense of urgency or incentive to win. Without a winning mentality, you're starting to let that "lazy and loser" vibe flow throughout the team. And it seems like that's the same "lazy and loser" vibe we've been seeing out of the Cubs during this NLDS against the Dodgers.

It's unfortunate for Chicago fans, because their team was as good as any this year.

I know what it means when I say or type "Without a winning mentality, you're starting to let that "lazy and loser" vibe flow throughout the team" because I see it time and time again from my precious Houston Texans!
