No Cubs, No Yankees, No Mets, No Brewers, No Braves.........wow your right we really do have a playoffs without hate now, unless you still harbor some ill will against the white sox for beating the stros in the world series.
I'm not a fan, but don't really feel hatred toward them. But I also want to see the Rays continue and I'm hoping they win. For me, that would fall more under "preference" than hate. And even if the White Sox did win, it would just be more dumping on the cubs because then they would have 2 WS Championships in recent history and the cubs have 0 in 101 years and counting...I really wouldn't mind that image

Another "preference" would be NOT to see the Red Sox in the WS, but if it ended up being the Dodgers led by former Yankee Torre and former Sox Manny going into Fenway and beating on the Red Sox, I could appreciate the irony in that! I just wouldn't really want to see the Sox win that series so it might make me a little nervous.

My "best case scenario" at this point would be a Rays vs Phillies series. No big market teams. No East Coast media bias. The Phillies have a rabid fanbase, but it really doesn't extend much outside of Philly from what I can tell, so I'm good with that...not too much bandwaggoning. The ratings would probably be terrible, but I don't care...I'd be happy with that...screw Bud. Let it go 7 games and let every game be an extra inning, low scoring, pitcher's duel! I'd watch every minute and love it while Bud squirms and preferrably gets fired.
