At 1-9-1, the Astros have practically lost all of their spring training games played thus far. Even if they went winless this spring, I still wouldn't put much stock or concern into that. Like everybody else in the baseball world ( fans around the world ), I'm waiting for opening day when the games actually matter and count in the standings.

In fact, I'm sort of glad the Astros are playing poorly and struggling a lot in spring training, with a lot of their regular players not even playing ( mind you ). At least we know the Astros are due for a big winning surge, sooner or later. Law of averages suggest you can't lose so much. If things go the way they're going, I expect the Astros to start the regular season on absolute fire, winning games aplenty. The Astros win! The Astros win! The Astros win! ... Get used to that once the regular season starts.

For now, there's no need to panic. It's just useless emotions. Isn't spring training the time you want to play poorly? Surely the losses don't hurt at all right now.
