Many of the ballparks of the early 20th century had a sameness, too. Many in the Eastern cities were built exactly to fit into a city block. Three that I have been to were such parks: Fenway Park, Connie Mack Stadium (Philadelphia), and Ebbets Field (Brooklyn). The facades from the street could be perceived as just another buliding, if you didn't know what was beyond the entrances.

I miss the Dome. MMP for the day game I went to a few weeks ago was about 80+ degrees & muggy at field level. The novelty of MMP has worn off for me.
