If Russ Ortiz has an era under 4 for the remainder of the year, I will give Ed Wade partial credit. I don't expect that to happen though.
Zach, even if you're pessimistic about Ortiz and Moehler... You still have to feel optimistic the way Wandy Rodriguez and Roy Oswalt are pitching lately, two legitimate Aces. Wandy shut down a good home team in the Twins in his last outing and Oswalt has been getting snubbed, not getting a win despite two strong outings in a row, including a complete game he lost against the Twins. I don't exactly see any other team in this division pitching lights out, at the moment.

Heck, Ortiz and Backe also tamed a really good Rangers hitting team on the road as well. But once again, errors proved costly - costing Ortiz a win.

If I were Ortiz and Oswalt, I'd be upset. Whether it's lack of hitting, errors or both, they've been unable to pick up a lot of wins this season despite great pitching efforts.

I believe Wandy, Oswalt and Ortiz will all have ERAs under 4 this season.

3-ish ERAs or whatever you want to call it.

Moehler and Backe haven't exactly sucked lately, and Wandy, Oswalt and Ortiz have been amazing.
