Don't you guys think that if Berkman thought he would do better/make more money batting only as a left handed batter he would do that? Don't you also think that if you notice this trend so does he, the statisticians the Astros employ, the hitting coach, the manager (well maybe not Coop) and everyone else? This question lways comes up and he always says the same thing... that standing in the box watching a lefty from the left side would throw him off. I wonder what the sample size is as well. Obviously there are more righties in the game so he is mostly a LH hitter... don't you think that the sample size has to be way skewed so that he is going to have a much larger percentage of his AB's as a lefty?
