According to fangraphs he played 2/3 of an inning in RF last season for the Indians. I certainly hope this is just a signing for a Utility infielder...Assuming so, he has some pop and can play all the infield positions except SS. He makes a lot of sense for the Astros. I think it also shows that the Astros aren't very comfortable with Wallace at 3rd. If they were, there wouldn't really be much of a need for another infielder. I think Lopez' experience at 3B makes him a good safety blanket for Dominguez in case he doesn't pan out
