Wilton Lopez hasn't pitched that well for the Rockies this year.  His 4.53 ERA is about 1 run higher than his normal line.  Maybe Coors Field accounts for some of that.  But his velocity and groundball rate are also down.  He has had 9 melt downs and blown all 4 save opportunities this year.

I  wonder if Harrell may be pitching through some pain/injury.  Fangraphs has an index (called PAIN) which uses changes in certain Pitch f/x parameters determine if pitchers are showing signs of injury.  And Harrell has been near the top of that list for more than a month.

Harrell realizes that he may be pitching himself off the team. " If I don’t pitch better, I’m going to be gone. I mean, realistic, that’s the way it is,” Harrell said.

After Porter told reporters that Harrell's command was an issue, Harrell bristled at the idea that he has a problem with commanding his pitches.  “My command hasn’t been that bad,” he said...Everyone says my command’s off. My command’s not off."  I think Harrell may be in denial.
