Only the winning horses (or those with excellent lineage) get put out to stud. Speaking of which, that's got to be one of the best retirements of any creatures on the planet. You get to be pampered and fed the choicest meals and all you have to do is mount a filly from time to time. No alimony. No pony support. No golddiggers or hangers on trying to sue you.

One thing about youth is that it is inconsistent. About five weeks ago, Lyles and Cisnero were our best pitchers. Now Cisnero has been sent back down and Lyles might soon if he still has options.
